Our Story
Trust is a fundamental part of humanity, but with the evolution of AI this decade, we are giving AI the agency to make autonomous decisions that affect people's lives and livelihoods, often without visibility into their reasoning, context for their actions, or control over their behavior.
We experienced the early version of this pain firsthand with machine learning models and founded Fiddler to solve it: first with explainability, then expanded to observability to track how models change over time. As agents emerged, the same challenge resurfaced at a larger scale: autonomous systems making consequential decisions across enterprises. Organizations needed not just visibility, but control, a way to govern AI systems at scale. When governance becomes necessary, a Control Plane always emerges to enable organizations to deploy high-performing, compliant, and secure AI systems at scale.
