Introduction
[00:00:00] Hey, everybody. Just wanted to give a quick video overview of Fiddler's new Sensitive Real-time Guardrails. There are a set of Guardrails designed specifically to detect things like PHI or PII from leaking into or out of your AI applications. And so what we have here is just a streamlit environment. This is not what our guardrails actually looks like, but it's a good, way for us to showcase just how they work.
PII Guardrails Demo
[00:00:25] So what I'm gonna do is showcase the PII Guardrails and I'm going to select a string of text that contains a lot of PII and we'll just hit run and you'll see very quickly within a hundred milliseconds. Fiddler Sensitive Guardrails was able to detect eight unique entities that it determined to be PII. Things like people phone numbers, addresses, social security numbers. And if we look into the API response, you can actually see the confidence score that Fiddler Guardrails is giving to each one of these entities.
PII Custom Entities
[00:00:59] But I'm sure you're wondering, you know, what about custom entities? What we can do is we can actually select custom ones. And so in this case, I'll showcase just how easy it is to add in a new one. So we'll try something like salary grade. We'll add that in. And then we'll run it again and very quickly we jump from eight to nine entities and you can see salary grade was found right there. So, that's a quick demonstration of how they work.
