Introduction
[00:00:00] Hey, everybody. Just wanted to give a quick video overview of Fiddler's new Real-time Sensitive Guardrails. They're a set of guardrails specifically designed to catch things like PHI or PII from leaking into or outside of your AI applications. And so what we have here is just a Streamlit environment that's connected to Fiddler Guardrails on the backend. This is not what Fiddler Guardrails looks like. This is just an example of how they work.

[00:00:29] So what I'm gonna do here is input some text that contains PHI and we'll have Fiddler Guardrails run and just see how it can detect it. So you can see very quickly within a hundred milliseconds, Guardrails was able to identify four unique entities that it identified as PHI, stuff like health insurance number, medication, medical condition, health insurance id. If you look at the API response you can also see the confidence scores that Fiddler Guardrails had for each one of these entities.
PHI Custom Entities
[00:01:05] And I'm sure you're wondering, you know, what about like custom entities, like specific things that are not caught here? Well, what we can do is we can try, setting up a custom one. And so what I'll do is I'll look at maybe something like heart rate and add it in and then we'll run it. And you can see very quickly that we jumped from four to five entities and now Fiddler Guardrails was able to detect heart rate.
